Bug bounty programs: One of the ways ethical hackers make money are through bug bounty programs.These are where companies offer cash and prizes to hackers to find system vulnerabilities and bugs in their products. EXAMPLES INCLUDE- MICROSOFT,FACEBOOK,GOOGLE,CHROME,PORNHUB,YAHOO,MOZILLA,DROPBOX,UBER,GITHUB,AVAST ANTIVIRUS and COINBASE.
   
2. PWn2Own and similar events: Another way ethical hackers make money is through live hacking events where hackers come together to hack a particular device or software.The pwn2own event is one of the largest hacking events and the participants are tasked to hack a device or software.
   
3. Consulting with companies: Another source of income for ethical hackers is doing security consulting (otherwise known as penetration testing).An organisation may hire an ethical hacker to test their system for vulnerabilities or to advise their tech team on anew project.As a well known ethical hacker,companies will approach you with offers for work that can be freelance or long term.
