IMPORTANT TERMS IN WINDOWS 7
         i.           DESKTOP: This is the first screen displayed when windows 7 Operating System are successful loaded. The desktop is the main working areas where majority of the work you want to do are carried out.
       ii.            WINDOW: This is a rectangular area displayed on the screen by the Operating System and it is via this that users interact with their programs or documents as well as with the Operating System (OS) itself.
      iii.            ICON: These are pictures that are displayed on the windows screen, along with the name. They normally stand for certain operation or application programs.
     iv.            FOLDER: This refers to a group of related files. A folder may contain other folders called sub-folders. It is the equivalent of directory in MS-DOS.
       v.            MENU: This is a group of options from which selection can be made to initiate an operation.
     vi.            DOCUMENT: Its simply and commonly refers to a user’s file such as a written text (letters, news, books, etc.).
    vii.            APPLICATION: This refers to either a windows or MS-DOZ programs.
  viii.            START BUTTON: The start button is located at the left corner of the task bar. The task bar opens a menu referred to as the start menu. This menu enables you to open documents, launch  (run) programs and perform other common tasks.
     ix.            START MENU: This menu is the first menu displayed when the start button is clicked. The menu provides options to open document, launch (run) programs and perform other common tasks.
       x.            SHUT DOWN: This is the process being followed when one wants to quit the Windows 7 environment.
